COLLAGE
Collage and montage challenge traditional notions of surface, narrative, and representation. This work is cut and pasted using scissors and glue. Through the juxtaposition of disparate source materials, contexts are destabilized. I’m drawn to the idea of uncertainty and reconciliation - balance in the midst of rupture - a
visual encounter with a sense of restless becoming.
